to convert from decimal to percentage, just multiply the decimal by 100, but remember to put the "%" sign so people know it is per 100

you do NOT *simply* multiply by 100. Multiplying by 100 would mean that the value would be 100 times greater. And that's not what you're looking for.

Since you want your decimal and percentage to be equivalent, you multiply by 1, which can be written in the form "100/100" or "100%"

0,67 * 100 = 67 (not 67%... 67. the value has changed.)
0,67 * 100% = 67% The value hasn't changed.

Multiply the decimal by 100.

.50 is 50% (.50 x 100)

.31 is 31% (.32 x 100)

.23436 is 23.436%
