Maximum effort on sounds reproduction with ZERO interest in aesthetics for a start.

Better matierals used - as not really on such a tight budget - so again little chance of sound colouration

NOT having any form of passive filtering is important - or you will not be listening to "what is real" - you will be listening to a modified sound

Others may be able to suggest other differences too

they will be top of the range professional speakers, much higher quality than domestic set-ups... plus the monster cables used is £25+ per metre

As far as I know they are not just have a better quality than the average Hi-Fi has.
