It is a poor solution as it leads to a winner and a loser, much like a court ruling does. This is generally not good in most situations, especially where people have to live together and see each other every day. It is generally indicative of an imposed solution, in fact, it is very difficult to think of a situation where direct force will not be imposed.

I suppose there could be 2 main reasons for using direct force. The first is because you know you can 'win' a contest using force but are unsure of what the outcome would be if you didn't. The second is where you have tried every other possible solution and in order to prevent worse suffering/greater problems in the future, the use of direct force is justified.

I guess it is used by small children because they don't know any better way of sorting out their problems. Debate and constructive discussion are not really contemplated in the minds of young children. However, much direct force, I think, is used by small children in a playful situation and therefore forgiveness is quite easy to come by and good relations acan continue between the children. This, unfortunately, is rarely so with large nations.

For large nations, I think it could be shown that direct force would only be exercised either as a last resort or in order to solve a problem quickly without any argument. It is obviously a dangerous solution as there is no way to keep good relations with the party force is used against and if the party using force is wrong in their view, it could lead to disastrous consequences.

In conclusion, the use of direct force may be regarded as a 'Neanderthal' solution to a problem and in a developed society it may be expected of everyone to get along without having recourse to direct use of force. However, force can be shown to be used by many people and not just small children and large nations. The majority of the criminal law concerning two people is based on violent crime, much of which there is some reason for-this could be the solution to a problem or some other reason-and obviously, the inevitable peak of direct force is Murder. This interpretation of the use of direct force as a punishable offence, and indeed probably the harhsest punishable offence in all jurisdictions, shows us that it is a negative thing and its use will have detrimental consequences. In my opinion, the use of direct force is only justified at International level where every other possibility of resolution has been sought after and not imposing a solution at all would result in a severe detriment to more people than the use of the direct force.

Yeah I agree with you. Talking things out is the best way to solve a problem NOT using force. Using force doesn't accomplish anything except making the opposing party return and they will hit back harder and so this cycle continues until someone is seriously injured or worse killed

I think Defender O was trying to joke with you. Anyways to answer your question, it is solely in the matter of the situation. What if you were being attacked, would you use force to fight back or be docile? What if one of your friends were being hurt, would you use force to stop the attack or stand idly by? Every situation has cause for various moves of direction to solve the problem.

well i dont agree as it seems to me that men who are twisted use force to make their wives stay with them so i believe that it is a poor solution but on the other hand many more people than kids and nations use it for their own good usually
