Our unemployment rate is lower than its ever been, dow is as high as its ever been, gas prices are at an affordable $2.08, America hasnt been attacked since 9/11, tax cuts put more money in our pockets. Our economy is booming right now, and idiots of America have voted in a democratic house and senate that has campaigned with no plan to do anything but destroy the good path America is going in. I am in shock at this horrible election result...Liberalism didnt win this election and will never win an election. Republicanism lost it because people are so naive on the war on terror. This world was going in the right direction until this election result happened. Al queda is probably rejoicing with this election...

YOU LOST DEAL WITH IT IDIOT. Republicans are on the run and conservatism is dead. Rumsfeld is out and Cheney is next.

America has spoken and they have said "Republicans services are no longer needed"

And instead of blaming America maybe you should blame the morons in the white house. I know it's America's fault, you sound like a communist.

Gas is still too high, 9/11 happened on Bush's watch, un employment is low because both parents have to work because of the middle class crushing Republicans, so of course unemployment is low.

The only thing booming in this economy is big corporations and the rich (thus proof Republicans hate the middle class). Republicans and conservatives are molesting children and doing drugs.

Tax cuts didn't effect anybody but the rich. Anybody I have talked to in the middle class have actually lost money.

YOU LOSE, DEMS AND AMERICA WIN..

Why ask a question to which you won't listen to the answer? The Democrats have many proposals, if you won't listen that's nobody's fault but your own. As far as the state of the country, very few people think we are better off now than before Bush took office. The tax cuts were for the rich, not average americans, no attacks means nothing since our borders aren't secure anyway, gas prices are down now, but just a month ago they were absurd, who is to say they won't go right back up?
Wages for most americans are stagnant. People want a change because obviously this government isn't working.

As far as the war on terror, people who actually believe there is such a thing and that it is winnable are the naiive ones.

These days it's all about negative campaigning. The war is really the only bad thing about the Bush administration. For example, the lady who won the House seat in my district must have run a dozon commercials that basically said "I don't like George Bush so vote for me." And it worked.

Good politics means reading the public mood and capitalizing. Republicans should have pushed Bush to bring forward a plan for Iraq. Bush has no one but himself to blame.

As well democrats made gains on the corruption issue. The Republicans did what many parties do after too long in office, pork barrel. Good riddance to them all

many ppl are asking the same question. i for one am waiting to see what they come up with, they have complained a lot and pointed out all these problems they see but have offered no solutions nor any ideas on how to confront them at all. its scary to think that the ppl who might be in charge to some degree have no idea how to proceed. our enemies must be laughing their butts off at the internal destruction of america. really sad to think it didn't take the terrorist to destroy us but our own ppl turned on us, taking us out from the inside. notice though how when you ask a dem supporter what the plan is they deflect the question by calling you a loser, or the 'yawn' thing or bashing bush...thats called immature and clueless and these are the ppl who are allowed to vote....

They knew that approach would work. They knew the Reps were vulnerable for their inaction in advancing the conservative agenda (e.g. permanent tax relief, limited government, secure borders, personal responsibility, sanctity of life), and failing to act like they were in control of both houses of Congress.

Regardless of what the Dems agenda is, you can be certain that they will be ruthless in its implementation.

ASK ANY PARENT OR SURVIVOR OF ANY SOLDIER KILLED IN IRAQ, WHAT WOULD THEY RATHER HAVE, YOUR KEEN OUTLOOK ON THE GOODNESS OF AMERICA OR
TO HAVE THEIR RELATIVE OR LOVED ONE BACK.
THAT IS THE ANSWER.
ASK PEOPLE FROM THE VIETNAM ERA.
what great minds and inventions were lost over a war that was never declared or had any meaning in the first place. Love and family cannot be replaced once it is taken forcefully, money and gas can.

It's not up to the Democrats to have a plan. It is up to the President and his advisers. They have failed. If Bush needs help, they will be glad to advise him. He has never listened to them and probably never will.

how do you think we got our freedom by standing back.

in the public eyes iraq does not deserve freedom like ours. we need keep fighting the terrorist for the people OF THE WORLD from the terrorist who rule it. and we are not dictator we are freedom fighters who fight for FREEDOM, JUSTICE AND LIBERTY. unfortunitly people lost sight of it and voted wrong yesterday.

and morally we are now also headed in the wrong direction. people need to be responible for their action and not blame it on science or the society.

finally for the budget there goes the state and national level budget and economy and our taxes. people what things to be in place for a better country and community. but who do you think we pay for it in the long run. we do with our taxes, not with the so called federal and state money people think we have.

country is in a mess thanks to the ungrateful american public who forget how our free
