Vivienne Westwood! She was punk and all about an era. Alexander McQueen is show clothes (in the same way Yoji Yomamoto (sp?). She's cultivated youth, rebellion & an attitude, a movement, into clothes. Probably the first time fashion was influenced from "the bottom up".

Too hard to choose! They're both so avant guard and create such beautiful peices. Although, to tell you the truth, I loved all of the dresses McQueen designed for women at the Metropolitan instutute gala from a few month's ago. Sarah Jessica looks great in tartan, who knew?
