Okay, I have watched the show from begin to present, but I am currently Lost!! What are "The Others" doing on that Island in the first place. What is with the black smoke and Eko's brother coming back to life? This is all just getting to crazy. I also dont quite get what happened when they didnt push the button on the computer? Anybody got a clue, or am I just as lost as I should be.

When they didn't push the button, the hatch imploded. No one seemed to have died or really been very injured from it, which doesn't make much sense, but there ya go. The explosion seems to have lost all of Desmond's clothes, and Hurley finds him in the woods. Charlie gets a few scrapes, but goes back to Claire unharmed and they kiss. Locke lost his hearing for a while, but seemed okay, and Eko got dragged off by a polar bear and Locke had to go find him.
The black smoke seems to be able to manifest itself as living (that might not be the right word, since Yemi is dead) beings, because Yemi said when he asked Eko to confess his sins "You talk to me as if I were your brother" before he turned into the smoke monster and killed Eko. We still don't know why the smoke thingy can do this, or what it's made of.
The Others...we still don't know why they're there. That hasn't been revealed to us yet.

hi friend,i am really excited to see someone who is so interested in lost just like me.well actually lost is simply not a adventurous serial like we have expected it has got some ghosts some magical scenes like dead persons appearing again like ekos brother and boon in some scenes,well u can log on to www.lost-tv.com for further info abt it.moreover u can set the transcripts for the entire season 1 ,2 and 3 in that site.hope u like it.jus go and see it now.

Ok, ok, so we don't know who the "other's" are but I think that they have something to do with the drama project. But who knows and Ecko's brother had to do something with the island talking to him. So other than that. WHO KNOWS!!!!
