I wish that more Democrats had won, but Rumsfeld stepping down was the icing on the cake. Guess he couldn't take the heat. But what really got me, was that Bush finally admitted that the war was about the oil. Now, after those remarks, there are no reasons why he can't be impeached.

Not at all. This election was a fraud in the sense that people lost sight of the local issues and focused only on the democrats calling for the end to the war in Iraq, as if that's going to happen any time soon. Our congressman was beaten by a left-wing nut case who is not fit to make important decisions. She's just someone who wants to whine and complain. It's disheartening. What happened to make people lose sight of what's important?

I didnt vote along party lines, I voted for both Democrats and Republicans here in California. I am upset over many of the Propostions that were passed, mainly bonds, which means more taxes, and others that failed. Grrrrrr......

I cannot believe that William Jefferson is in a run-off in New Orleans. He is a congressman who hid bribe money in his freezer. Citizens need to realize that if we don't get rid of lawmakers like him our city will not rise up. We need to not vote for this corrupt lawmaker.
