The thing that happens is that each antivirus is going to detect the other as a virus and your computer will become so unstable that you are going to need professional assistance or format the computer.
In the case of anti spyware it wouldn't be a problem, just your pc is going to be VERY slow. I recomend that you have 1 antivirus and all the antispyware you want but run it one by one.

You can... and you should have two running on your system. I have Norton and AVG running... I have no worries about system-slowdowns as my PC can more than handle it.
The good thing about two antivirus programs, is that one catches what the other misses. Some viruses are programmed to specifically bypass popular anti-virus systems such as Norton... and if that's the case, you should have a backup virus program running to catch the culprit.
Same thing with spyware and malware. You should have two scanners, as one always misses something, and the other catches it.

Give up using Windows, and install Linux on your computer. Linux is immune to all viruses, malware, spyware and adware.

Linux is a complete operating system that is either free or very cheap ($10-$30) and comes bundled with a huge variety of free software.

The Linux desktop is amazingly flexible and customizable, and anyone who is used to Windows will soon feel comfortable with it - and shocked by how dull their old Windows system looks by comparison! For example, in Linux you can use up to twenty (yes twenty) separate desktop work spaces - Windows only gives you one.

Go to www.distrowatch.com to find out how to get all the popular flavors of Linux...

...then do an image search for Linux screen grabs on Google.

Well realistically, no. I did before and it totally bogged down my system. Now here the problem you have two of the same type software that are trying to do the same thing, trust me you will have conflicts on it. I really would not suggest it. But you could do it if you want. but you wont get very far with it.

It will slow the system down significantly, so I wouldn't suggest that you do it. Also it may take longer to scan ur computer that way.
