What gives me a small glimmer of hope is that apparently, this is an indication that Bush is growing some spine (he *finally* bucked Cheney on this). It is now glaringly obvious to him now (or hope it is), that Turdbucket Rove is not about anything except divisive partisanship and lies.

I think Bush is going to concentrate on his legacy from here on out, and I am hopeful that some reason will finally enter into his decision making process. Maybe it is a forlorn hope, but hey, I am ever the optimist.

I think he should spend his retirement personally visiting and apologizing to each and every soldier and his/her family for getting them killed, maimed and generally f'd over because of his complete and utter incompetence!
