The 65, 70, 75 numbers are the height of the tire from the rim to the road. The lower the # the lower the tire. Understand that the lower the tire the lower the car is going to be.

You can. The 70 is actually a percentage. You take that number times the width (185mm) to get the height of the tire from road to rim.
It will change your speedometer reading a hair.

65 and 70 series tires are shorter and the speedometer will have to be reset to work properly.

It's best to check with a tire dealer to see what sizes are acceptable, but normally one size different is fine, especially when going down in the profile #
