I think it is just easier for people to put the blame on someone else rather then admit that they did wrong. Taking responsibility takes great maturity and courage. I know many adults who haven't been able to do this yet.

I think a lot of us are afraid..of rejection, reprimand, judgement, abandonment. If we allowed people to see the "real" us, everyone would go away. Ironically, when someone admits to making a mistake, I really admire that person because they have enough self esteem to know that admitting to a mistake is not the same as being a failure.

it takes a certain type of person to admit their own faults, those who don't are not truly honest with others either. part of the problem is that it is a learned behavior from childhood. they here their own parents arguing and not ad mitting things. so they learn at an early age that its acceptable not to tell the truth. they see their political leaders playing the lay the blame game, so know its now an acceptable thing in society. parents that hold their children accountable for their actions raise them to accept their faults and admitt their wrong doings, those who don"t teach their children not to take responsibility

They're too immature to except responsibility for their actions. There's a lot of people in this world that have the "the world owes me" mentality and when they screw up it is never their fault. It's someone elses for not bending to their will.

Cuz they sincerely can't see fault with themselves, and are not capable to accept responsibility for their actions and choices. Finding explanations in the external world rather than in themselves is a very "human" thing to do.

Sometimes it is and sometimes it isn't and when it isn't it's because they don't want to admit the fault and face the music. Some deny to back away from responsibility and maturity.

Many people are so insecure that they do not have the ability to take responsibility for their own actions. It is their fear of rejection that makes them play the blame game.

They are either not man (or woman) enough to take responsibility for their own actions. If they had a set of balls (or breasts, I guess) they would own up to what they've done, and take steps to correct it, or at least make up for it. These kind of people are not worth dealing with.

Simple, it is easier to blame another then to accept responsibility for our own actions and faults.

We fail to see how we act can effect our marriage and relationships for the good or the bad.
