You might be able to run campaigns based on "Bush is bad for this country" and "we need a change", but you can't govern on those beliefs. Now that it appears they have the majority in both houses of Congress, will they tell us what they plan to do?

It really doesn't matter because nothing is going to get accomplished over the next 2 years. Anything Bush sends to Congress will get voted down. Anything Congress sends Bush will get vetoed, and they don't have enough of a majority to override, thus we have a stalemate for the next 2 years.......

Actually they do have a plan & Nancy Pelosi gave it to us around 12:15 today in her news conference. Contrary to the fears of the republicans there is no intention to pull out of Iraq in one fell swoop but instead a gradual withdrawal. Bush is speaking as I write & he just stated that he has already given Rumsfeld instructions to come up with a new perspective re Iraq. Hopefully Bush is now willing to work with both houses of congress & between them something different will get done.

These votes weren't so much about the Dems having a master plan, but that the Reps were so corrupt and the policies of Bush (and thus the rubber stamping Congress) so bad that any Dem was better.

Plan for what specifically? If you listened, you'd hear many ideas they've already propose including increasing minimum wage, repealing the ridiculous wealthy tax cuts and having hearings to determine the cause of failures in Iraq.

If you are referring to Iraq I'm sorry to say the power to control the military rests solely with Bush. That's why he is a complete hypocrite for suggesting the Democrats need a plan to fix it.

They don't need to tell us what they plan - history will do that.

1) RAISE TAXES
2) Give all the money to the lazy as5holes who refuse to work and want a government handout

You would have to be deaf, blind, corrupt, or living under a rock to have not heard their plans.... or maybe just listening to the rebuplicans... either way, your doing a dis-service to yourself and the country...

Actually listen to both sides and don't hint at it like you have... you will save yourself a great deal of embarrassment.

the only plan they have is to get out as soon as posible without a care in the world. they dont realize that if we let them rot over there without us it will come to the US even quicker.
