Yes. I have had Hondas and Toyotas and all of my vehicles have lasted over 200000 miles. I currently have a Honda Element and love it. I will never own a Ford, Chevy, Dodge again. They also don't depreciate as fast as American made cars.

I think I'm driving our 4th Honda. The first was a little station - must have been 46 years ago. I loved it. Then bought the first Accord Honda made. It was a great car. Bought 3 Subarus and a Buick Park Avenue before getting another Honda - a Civic Hybrid 2004. Great car great mpg 46. Traded it in for a 2004 and got another great car. I wish GM and Ford would make a good hybrid.

Hondas are AWESOME! We bought our daughter a '92 accord ex for her first car. It had 80 or 90,000 miles on it. She went to college 6 hours away. She just graduated in May, and that car is STILL going. Never a problem. She drove two years in high scholl and back and forth for 4 years and it brought her back home. It started to show signs of a transmission problem a month ago and we thought it was done. My husband had it checked out and low and behold, we paid $50.00 for a trans computer at a junk yard and it's back on the road with 194,000 miles! My daughter can't decide now whether to sell it or just keep running it. We're all curious to know exactly how long "she" would continue before dying. So yes, I would absolutely recommend a Honda.

Well about honda's
honda has been making vtec engines since 1986 and none of them have failed so far. that's the Honda reliability.
even in late 90's the F1 racings teams like BMW and Williams used Honda engines because of their reliability.
My friend has a 1985 honda accord which has its odometer stopped at 260k miles 3 years back. when he bought it.
its been running just on oil changes. this is the honda reliability

Absolutely! If you compare them with other cars you will also note that they retain their value and do not depreciate as quickly as other cars. I now own a Honda because I got sick and tired of having to take other vehicles, Fords, Chrysler's, etc, into the shop for bogus repairs. Honda builds quality.

Honda and Toyota...
These cars and trucks are GREAT! I had a Civic that had more than 600,000 miles on it and sold it for $2500. Try that with an American made car. I love America but Honda and Toyota have us beat hands down on autos.

They are definitely reliable cars. I have a 96 Accord 5-speed with 176,200 miles, I follow the maintenance schedule, and it still runs like new. I have never had a serious mechanical problem with it. If you are shopping for a Honda, get one, you will not regret it.

hey.. u can't compare Honda with Maruti... pls... there is **** loads of difference between the two man.. First decide which models u'r interested in both these makes and then we can compare them... cos the best that maruti has produced in Baleno and that still doesn't match with the starting product of Honda whcih is the Honda City.... lets not even get to CRV or Accord or the latest Civic.. which i feel is the best car in India for a long long time....
