LOVE LETTERS! No matter how bad it gets, no matter how busy take time to let your wife know how much you love her. A real romantic idea is to see a florist and prepay for a delivery of a red rose once a month(or once a week if $ is no object) to her , with a sweet message, while you are gone. Make audio or video tapes to send her from Iraq and don't dwell on what is happening but let her know how much you love her and miss her, reminisce about good times and tell her about all the things you want to do when you get back(no I dont mean sexually)places to take her etc. You are a brave noble man for going to Iraq and God Bless you will return safely to your family.

Hmmm! give her my phone #. ....lolololol No! for serious though, You have been called on by Christ to go and be a soldier a great soldier! for your country, So whatever will be will be, your book of life is written, your wife is a gift from god and only he knows what the future holds (provided you didnt marry the girl on center stage down at the local pay to play palace) anyway if you are having doubts then you are already setting yourself up for failure! and failure is NOT AN OPTION! So Grow the **** up and go serve your country as your fore fathers did and dont worry about whos banging the hell out of your old lady because if she is that small minded then maybe your better off out there. Umm lets not forget that war is a mans adventure and where there men there is also woman, so the flip side to that is well you get the picture. AND ALSO keep your tiny lil worm in its sock. and focus on busting some rag head ***, remember YOU ARE CALLED TO DUTY BY THE MEN GOD HAS PUT IN CHARGE SO GO FORTH AND although you will be leaving a mommas boy when you get back you will be a REAL MAN AND A HERO! MAKE YOUR CHILDREN PROUD! FOR CHRIST WILL NOT SEND YOU TO YOUR DEATH and if you ARE NOT FOCUSED THEN YOU WILL SEND YOU AND YOUR BROTHERS TO THERE DEATH. so good luck and GOD BLESS YOU! I personally Thank You for being a soldier of THE USA! bucsfan1la@yahoo.com

I am very sorry to hear that, but I wish you the best of luck while you are deployed.

I am sure that your wife will stay interested. She is probably proud to have such a brave husband. but to keep things alive, I would recommend communicating at all costs. make sure you guys stay lovey dovey and send nice letters, call whenever you can, and don't forget about the good times. And, don't worry, chances are that she is worried about keeping things alive as well- it will work out- be positive!! :-)

And God Bless You!

Please dont take this the incorrect way. I totally help and appreciate each and every member of our armed centers. I dont prefer to declare that Iraq is risk-free, anyplace with such conflict is nowheres close to it. although, we've had , what one million plus troops interior the aera, and doubtless decrease than one million% are heavily injured? there are a number of places in Iraq wherein troops are actually not any-wheres close to any harm to boot the warmth and tedium. My phiolsophy on existence is while its some time to bypass, its some time. each and every thing happens for a reason, climate we see/know it or no longer. no count if it particularly is meant to be, it particularly is going to take place. climate somebody falls interior the tub bath or dies in conflict. i'm able to make no ensures approximately his saftey, yet understand that what he's doing is extremely courageous and heroic. I pray for his wellbeing, yet i envy the undeniable fact that i'll probable in no way have the prospect to serve in this great countries armed centers.

For your coping - Get in the Word of God(Bible). God's Word will bring you so much peace, love & joy that is undescribable.

As for keeping your marriage alive- be honest with your wife and always let her know how much you miss & love her. Pray for her. Prayer is very powerful.

May God Bless you & your wifey.

I would die from missing my hubby if he was gone that long! Call her whenever you can, and assure her that you are okay and ask about her...phone sex when nobody is around. Then you can write her some very romantic letters, that she can read when she misses you. Before you go, take her to a "toy store" and let her pick something out that she likes, and can use while you are gone. Best of luck! And God Bless you! :)
