I really need some insight here.......

Let me clarify........I don't RAG on him about it. I just ask him where he was, and he goes all off on me, and starts telling me it's his business and I should lay off. It's like he's feeling guilty and doesn't want to deal with it.

Sometimes, but not always. It usually depends how you're asking him. If it's just "Hey, what did you do today?", then he gets defensive. He's probably hiding something. If you're constantly asking him or saying it like "What were you doing today? Where were you?" Then he's going to get defensive cuz he doesn't think you trust him and the constant asking him will get old. So you need to ask yourself how you're presenting your question.

not necessarily..have you asked yourself how you are asking him?? If he feels threatened he just may be reacting...but on the other hand, he might be up to something he doesn't want you to know about....maybe it might be a good idea to mentally take a step back and look at other aspects of your relationship for signs that things have changed...but open communication is important in any relationship...so think carefully how you want to word things and tell him how it makes you feel when he reacts the way he is to your questions...but if you are asking him where he's been in a way that he might take as accusatory..he might just be reacting to that...good luck with this...I hope my opinion helps...peace

Possibly OR maybe he just takes offense at you asking because you make him feel like you don't trust him.

umm well it could go both ways. if you ask him over and over all the time then you are probably getting on his nerves and he feels you dont trust him. if you just asked and he flipped out then he is probably being bad.
