well, it depends on if they actually won the Senate or not. if the Dems have gained control of both Houses of government there's a lot they can do to start repairing the damages wrought by 6 years of unchecked neoCON power. but if only the Congress has been won the best the Dems can do is to erect speed bumps in the road of the neoCON agenda. it'll be nice to have some checks, balance and oversight of how and where our resources are spent. investigations into neoCON cronyism and corruption might prove interesting too.
PS. hehehe! look at how you neoCONNED whine and whimper! sore losers so filled with propagandized fear. someone says "give the Dems a couple of weeks". weeks?! to clean up 6 years of corrupted neoCON mess?! how generous! hahaha!

The Republicans have not had an agenda until Bush came up with, "STAY THE COURSE" and "THOSE EVIL DOERS!".
I am sure the Democrats can do at least that well. Let's give them a couple weeks to see what they can do.............The Republicans have done nothing but get us into a war we can't get out of..................If Saddam is not hung before Bush leaves office, I sincerely hope he doesn't pardon him on his way out the back door.
I can promise you one thing, the Democrats will "VEER FROM THE COURSE"!

Fuss and fight; fight and fuss; whine and cry; cry and whine; shoot themselves in the foot. The dems/libs can not help themselves. They are going to be dems/libs just give them time.
Look for support of gay marriage; gun control; national health insurance; a sharp increase in taxes; and a never ending bad mouth and disdain for our brave men and women fighting for our country. Give them enough time and they will be dems/libs and shoot themselves in the foot........that is if there are any more guns left.
Any one remember the Old Will Rogers discription of a Democratic Firing Squad.......a circle!! Give them time.

I'm actually looking forward to seeing if they can change anything that they have complained about. I think it will be a refreshing look at what they actually DO do rather than whine about. I'd like to see if they really make a difference, and in my heart of hearts, i'm almost glad they took over (not really, but you know what I mean)...like can they now PROVE that they can do something better than the economy booming and unemployment being at an all time low? Oh wait, not in my state since minimum wage increase ballot passed meaning employers are going to higher less people!!! idiots.
