Well, since she was off to see the wizard and the path she took led her to the emerald city where the so called wizard was, then I guess she took the right path. The other path could have gotten here there quicker I guess, but then she might not have met her friends.

The "yellow" brick road led her to the emerald city...the other two were red and they obviously did not lead to the emerald city. Would you drive south if you were trying to go to Canada?

it was my understanding that the yellow brick road started and ended in munchin village, so maybe that was just the path for the return trip
