Every time I click to get to my own info card, my machine goes into meltdown. Help?

I only want to see what questions I have up and running and I can't get onto the page. My machine is having an 'everso sorry, but we're going to cut you off' day. Is there anything I can do? Or do I just have to go with the flow and sulk until it's working properly again. (It's only today it's been like this! Must sense my mood!!!)
