They're nothing more than a bunch of thugs. Larry Coker should be ran out of town.

As a Miami fan I am upset by the loss of the young man. That being said Coker has lost complete control of the program, between arrests, shootings, and brawls during games the man must lose his job. He is out of touch with what is going on with his players and the program is suffering because of it.

I am tired of hearing about how it is not Cokers fault and he is a nice guy. He is the one that recruits kids to this school. They are hand picked by him. There are plenty of teams that have just as many thugs on there team and they are kept in check by the coaches. Florida state and Florida recruit the same kids and don't have the same problems. I understand the problem was bad before he got there, but wasn't he brought in to clean it up. Sure seems like he failed. MY opinion has nothing to do with last nights tragedy. That may have been totally separate.

Miami Hurricanes are in a deep slump and being a Miami fan, I am disappointed with what is going on currently. But when the rest of you who I know are fans of other college programs can say you've won 5 National Championships in the last 20+ years of college football and that your programs are clean (only a naive person would think that all other college programs are clean) then talk smack. It's easy to beat up on the most dominant college football program in the last 20 years when they are dealing with tough times. The Hurricane Nation will rise again! Watch out when it happens!

The Baltimore Ravens need places to draft from, too.

They seem to be. They are like the Oakland Raiders, both team's players are always getting in trouble and they are both get penalized so much.

It seems to be that way. Florida in general has a lot of crime and that program is a bit crooked

i am a huge hurricanes fan and i think that it isn't their fault. there are a lot of gangs in Miami and it is disgusting that one of the gang member shot Bryan Pata. He was a great defensive lineman and i wish he was still alive. he had a future in the NFL and he had a good heart. he deserved to live

we need to fire Larry Cocker..he is a horrible coach i never liked him from the beginning!

yeah, pretty much. however, even though there are alot of thugs down there, there are some "good living people," if that's what you would call it.
