i am a hardware tech.
it is very simple.just follow these steps.
i am assuming this is a second hard drive.
1)connect it to the computer.
2)turn it on.
3)enter the bios.
4)enable the disk
5)restart
6)boot to windows as usual
7)you should be able to see the new hard drive in my computer
8)format it.
9)you are done.
