When will the troops come home? since the Democrats are in charge of house and senate?

With the Democrats winning the House majority and the senate and nearly all of them promising to bring the troops home in their campaigns when will it happen? 2/3 of the government is now Democrat Bush is over ruled Bring back the troops We're Waiting or was all that talk about bringing our troops home BS I think so

First off, Congress is only 1/3 of the government, the President is 1/3 and the Supreme Court is 1/3 as your are describing it. That is not completely true of course, so please read up on it, maybe you will understand what is going on in the world better. Second off, the President has total control of the Military, the House which is controlled by the Democrats is holding the money or the purse strings. The Senate which has not been decided also has a say in any laws passed by the House. After that the President can Veto any of those laws passed. Finally after all that, the Supreme Court can shoot down or uphold any law they want such as Roe Vs. Wade. There are a bunch of thing going on. And even in two years, if (hopefully) the Democrats are in charge Congress and have a Democrat President, the Supreme Court will still be made up of people that Bush has appointed. Yes it is a good thing the Democrats winning, but we still have a long way to go.
