I believe that doctors only prescribe medicine to treat and they never seem to have the cures. I would like to find out where to find doctors who practice holistic medicine.

Two great sites to search for cures are http://www.curezone.com and http://www.doctormurray.com/index.htm. Curezone also has forums where you can ask questions and/or search for answers for specific problems.
Another site I like is http://www.whfoods.com/whoweare.php. All about whole foods and has recipes.

I visited the Vitamin Advisor through Dr. Andrew Weil. Of course his recommendations are followed with a pitch for his expensive (but probably high quality) vitamin supplements.
There are quite a few essential vitamins and minerals that scientific research repeatedly shows to be very important to living a healthy life. Call it preventative medicine.
Obviously, there are some types of injuries and diseases that require the care of a physician - someone with crystals and incense is NOT the person to visit if you have a broken bone, or a bacterial infection!

If you were cured then you wouldn't have to go back and spend more money. I found lots of info at my public library. There are sites online too. Just type in Holistic medicine and your town and state.

There are many. Search for Naturopathy, and Ayurveda. Ayurveda is more or less from herbs as they make all medicines from plant extracts.
