Bathroom - Perhaps because there is a Jewish law which is called "Bal Teshaktzu" which basically means that a person who needs to do their bodily function, should not delay. The reason is both for health, and for the respect of other human beings.

Directions: I guess that Jews sense that they have a purpose in life, and are always searcing for direction. :)
