"Jehovah" is the personal name of Almighty God; it is disrespectful and somewhat blasphemous to refer to any human as though he were Almighty God. The religion which is best known for educating people about the divine name is formally known as "Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses" or "Witnesses" for short. An individual among them may be respectfully referred to as "a Witness".

To be counted as a Jehovah's Witness, one must participate in the formal public ministry, and there are some qualifications that must be met. However, a minor child of a Witness may accompany his parent in the ministry without the child necessarily being a Jehovah's Witness himself.

The bible discourages true worshippers from persuing an interfaith marriage, but once the wedding is over a Jehovah's Witness is expected to work for the success of that marriage.

(Exodus 23:32) You are not to conclude a [marriage or other] covenant with them or their gods.

(Deuteronomy 7:3) And you must form no marriage alliance with [unbelievers]. Your daughter you must not give to his son, and his daughter you must not take for your son.

(1 Corinthians 7:39) She is free to be married to whom she wants, only in the Lord.

(Nehemiah 13:25) You should not give your daughters to [the unbeliever's] sons, and you should not accept any of their daughters for your sons or yourselves.

(2 Corinthians 6:14) Do not become unevenly yoked with unbelievers.

yes you can marry someone that is not a Jehovah Witnesses. most marry a witness. no it does not make the other person a Jehovah Witnesses. you are to study and decided to become a Jehovah Witness. if the baby is brought up and decided to become a witness. that has to be the child's choice just like the other person. you are not disfellowshipped for marrying that is not a Jehovah Witness. I know several that married non witness and they are still a Jehovah Witness. we should not marry someone who is not a Jehovah Witness but some don't

yeah they can marry someone outside of their faith (it's not as though they can stop them) --- I do know that they will be "encouraged" to join the Jehovah's Witness... and one having a child doesn't make the child a Jehovah's Witness --- both parents would have to come to some agreement about the child going to church/kingdom hall. If someone is going to marry a person who's not of their same faith - they are setting themselves up for a lot of stress and family dissension.

Jehovah's Witnesses take their beliefs from the Bible. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, please allow me to answer your question from the Bible.
Jehovah is God's name in English, and his Witnesses may marry outside their faith, but it is not recommended, since the Bible says at 1 Corinthians 7:39 "A wife is bound during all the time her husband is alive. But if her husband should fall asleep [in death], she is free to be married to whom she wants, only in [the] Lord." Also 2nd Corinthians 6:14 says: "Do not become unevenly yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship do righteousness and lawlessness have? Or what sharing does light have with darkness?"
If a Witness and a non-Witness have a child, the child is recognized by God, as is stated in 1 Corinthians 7:14, which says "For the unbelieving husband is sanctified in relation to [his] wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified in relation to the brother; otherwise, YOUR children would really be unclean, but now they are holy."
I hope this clears up your questions on the matter. You can email me and ask me anything you want, about Jehovah's Witnesses or the Bible. I will answer you from the Bible, because we would want to derive our religious beliefs from that source. Thanks so much maureen123@cox.net

They can, but are recommended not to. A circuit overseer at our hall once said why would you marry a 'worldly person', it is like dragging around a log, as they will be destroyed at Armageddon anyway.

A person is only classified a JW if they get fully immersed in water baptism, so often the unbelieving marriage mate never becomes a JW. It is the same with the children.

It is discouraged, but not forbidden. Unfortunately, chemical attraction does not always follow religious lines. There are religious that will expel one for marrying outside the faith, such as certain versions of Judaism and the Amish.

As in any mixing of religions in marriage, it can create problems, just as happens with Jewish and Christian, which is almost as different as a JW Christian with any other.

No they can't marry outside of the religion, they will be disassociated from the religion. In other words...kicked out!
