Depends, really. A good chunk of humility can go a long way, especially in a relationship. The problem generally stems from superficial attitudes about life/material wealth and being overly concerned with outward appearances. It's the old adage of energy being finite, i.e., the more energy you put into being outwardly pretty, the more you're taking away from being inwardly beautiful.

Haha, this is a good question. I'm in a relationship that .... well, you know what, I'll just describe a typical conversation between us, okay?

Him: "You forgot to fill the water filter again"

Me: "Well, you left it empty yesterday"

Him: "I did not. I just went into the other room while it was dripping through"

Me: "You had to do that because you didn't remember to do it sooner. [sings] You're blond, you're blond ....

Him: "You burned the rice to the pot again yesterday. Oh my Kitchen Princess"

Me: "Oh, aren't those people coming around to dinner tomorrow evening?"

Him: "You'd better tidy up the house then, and get the food in"

Me: "You invited 'em, so you're cooking, honey bunny"

Him: "My cooking is better anyway"

Me: "No it isn't, it's just more entertaining. You are the Kitchen Diva, darling"

Him: "You'd better make sure the house is clean"

Me: Of course I will. And what's more, I'll have the chairs out and refreshments ready for the audience for when you throw your Kitchen Diva Hissy Fit"

And on and on we go .... fake arguing is such fun.

I am very nice so I do not agree with your assumption....Actually sometimes I get nervous when all the attention is on me because one time I went to a McDonald's and as soon as I came through the door everyone stopped and started staring at me even the women (I think people always stare at me because I am black and have pretty natural gray eyes). I was so uncomfortable that I left without ordering. Nowadays I go through the drivethru because I hate when everyone stares at me. But I am not by any means full of myself and I don't walk around with my nose stuck up in the air.
Most of the time being pretty is not all that cracked up as people make it seem. When women are with their men and they start staring at me the women always give me a hateful look like it's my fault and of course my day is ruined because I feel bad about it.

Its an unfair assumption, but there can be some truth in it.
Sometimes when someone is very attractive, they have a tendency to get what they want most of thier lives. Therefore, thier thinking tends to get a bit skewed.

I think this all depends on how they were treated while growing up. The pretty ones are used to getting what they want, when they want it as well as all the attention. This is why they get demanding and bitchy, and why in turn we all think they should grow up and learn to be nicer. The ugly ones are used to getting things themselves and aren't used to any attention, but it's why they're nicer...because they know what it's like to be walked on.

Well sometimes attractive people are full of themselves and think they can away with more so they are jerks, but I don't think it is generally true eventually people realize their looks can only get them so far and no appearance nomatter how stunning can compensate for a bad personality

This a fallacy created by ugly people. It belongs in the same category as 'Money does not bring happiness'.

Depends on if the prettier ones have been humbled by life's experiences.

not something you can generalise really. some are some aren't. the trick is to find the ones that aren't (ugly on the inside that is)
