And if they are in school, how come they are on this site asking stupid questions?

Well, first of all, since this is a webpage, there are people all over the world accessing it. Although it might be 10am where you are (it's 9:18am here) it might be nighttime where someone else is.

Also, even though some questions might be stupid, there are still a lot of people on here that are older. Some people aren't that great at grammar or typing, and other people don't know English very well.

I'm not sure how elementary/middle/high school works anymore, but since technology is taking over, maybe more classes make use of computers and the internet. Kids with either really laid back teachers, or computer-related classes are able to access computers without any penalty.

I'm actually at school right now, but today my classes go from noon to 7pm, so my morning is free.

A lot might be home sick, or just truant lol. I know when i was in school, there would be certain classes where i could get on the internet and do whatever...classes like Independent Study or Study Hall, stuff like that. Who knows.

Lack of parenting, one person said??? Wouldnt you rather your kids be on this site trying to learn something, than many other much worse sites???

Haha I recognize what you imply! My oldest is a top tuition sophomore, and my "little one" is in eighth grade. Next 12 months I'll have 2 top schoolers!! Wow, in which in the world did the time pass??? So my son (eighth grader) will get up at 7:00, and leaves approximately eight:10. My daughter will get up at five:forty five to move going for walks; then bathe, get able and leaves approximately eight:10 as good.

I think some of these "kids" are adults pretending to be kids. Just check out some of their prior questions and you will understand why I am saying this. I answered one "kid" concerning a family problem and the kid was 12-14.In one of the kid's prior questions he asked about cleaning a shower door. It's hard enough to get kids to practise hygiene without expecting them to also care if they clean the tub. Have you ever had "kids" who in one Q. they are 12,the next they are 14, in one a boy in another a girl. I think it is just a lot of idle people trying to entertain themselves.

Could have year round school. 3 months on and 1 month off instead of the traditional 9 months on 3 months off most of us grew up with.
