Compared to a lot of the countries, we practically already are....as for in the entire world im going to have to go with the guy above me

Our country will become superpower - When all people like us will start doing some good work rather than answering such stupid questions.
Sounding chilly, but yes thats true. People in US & even China always give a preference to their work and will not look for even a second even if the Prime Minister is standing near by them to avoid wastage of time.
Not satisfied? Ok, read this. Just think if there are 25-30,000 persons working in a big company (factory) and a celebrity visits there and everyone for just a second sees him, how much is the wastage of time? 30,000*1second=30,000 seconds / 60 = 500 minutes /60 = 8.33 hours = One shift of work. See the loss???
Go stop wasting time and get to work my dear.

It is percieve notion by others.
There were few, and all were contries with nuclear capablities but that all have changed, with break up of USSR the number of these countries tripled over night.
