Amen!! I really can't stand to see partisan whining from either side - they're both greedy and corrupt. Most Americans are pretty moderate, myself included, and while I'm not overly thrilled with the way the election turned out, I'm certainly willing to give the newly elected the benefit of the doubt. I won't be whining about voter fraud or any of that crap. It's over - accept it with grace, fellow Republicans. And Democrats with any amount of class will be graceful about their gains.
Here's to the American people!

I think the Democrats were sorer losers. Remember the 2000 election recounts? Remember 2004? The reality is that Republicans "beat the spread." The average loss of seats in the House for a sixth-year mid-term election was 31 seats and the Democrats only won 27. I don't see any Republicans complaining about stolen elections, hanging chads, or Diebold.

I agree that politicians have to a great extent lost their professionalism in politics and have slumped to name calling. As to this election year it seems the ones being the most obnoxious are the democrats. The Republican party has remained relatively quite this whole time. I weep for our nation. I weep for all those who 'stupidly' chose to vote based on wanting to strike out at Bush. Such is logic befitting a fool.

I agree. It is par for the course. It has always been this way and will forever be so, sadly. Americans are spoiled people. We are accustomed to believing that something is "owed" to us. When we don't get our way, we have learned that yelling loud enough sometimes gets attention and even a change in some cases. We are spoiled and raising a nation of ungrateful spoiled citizens who mirror us. Sad indeed.

Yeah. There are several amounts of "cheap shots" by both sides of the political spectrum. You can't get more partisan than a midterm election.

I'm a Dem behind the orange curtain..orange county, ca we get bullied on a regualr basis here's a nice song..
Artist/Band: McGraw Tim
Lyrics for Song: When The Stars Go Blue
Lyrics for Album: Greatest Hits, Vol. 2
Dancin' when the stars go blue
Dancin' when the evening fell
Dancin' in your wooden shoes
In a wedding gown
Dancin' out on 7th street
Dancin' through the underground
Dancin' with the marionette
Are you happy now?
Where do you go when you're lonely
Where do you go when you're blue
Where do you go when you're lonely
I'll follow you
When the stars go blue
stars go blue
stars go blue
stars go blue
Laughin' with your pretty mouth
Laughin' with your broken eyes
Laughin' with your lover's tongue
In a lullaby
Where do you go when you're lonely
Where do you go when you're blue
Where do you go when you're lonely
I'll follow you
When the stars go blue
stars go blue
stars go blue
stars go blue

It's bad enough when you are derided for what you believe.
"You're for that? What kind of sick monkey are you?"
But if you are on the losing side, the endless gloating.
And if you are on the winning side, you own party does endless gloating.
Can we work together to run this country right?

I don't think that EVERYBODY acts like babies. But politics is politics - and politicians are not brain surgeons. One look at Bush ought to tell you something. And he was voted in twice!!!

I am sensitive to those whose feelings are hurt by the outcome of this election season, and in the most proper and sophisticated way possible I say Who cares? We won! Na na na na boo-boo!
