A lot of the time families of whoever the person killed,etc can watch the execution.They have like an afternoon showing with seats.It gives comfort and justice to the families.They are put on watch so the families won't be denied viewing the death

Someone is on Death row because it is assumed that it will give the victim some form of closure. If they suicide then they have 'escaped' their true punishment and thus have managed to strike again at the victim.

The main reason is because the family of the inmate can sue the state for not properly responding to the inmate's mental state and medical emergencies. The state is unfortunately libel for the lives of the inmates like a parent is their child.

lol..good question.. i guess casue our government is just that ignorant and twisted... theyd rather be the ones who caused the death.
