Sometime shortly before I left the Seattle area, in early 2000. Public transportation where I live now isn't that great.

This a.m. - I usually take the bus to work. I got tired of paying rip-off monthly parking rates ($75-$100/month)!!

I've never been in a cab.
Never been on a trolley, or street car.
Never been on a train.
I have ridden a school bus.

thursday nyx my sister and mother took a hired car, then a rickshaw--traffic was at a standstill, to the theatre. (mary poppins)
and a taxi back to the apt.
