No, a person well versed in the English language can "dress-up" the question with a sensible answer. The situation can be reversed. Serious questions --> silly answer.
Silly answer --> serious answer.
Like some of these people who ask about a disease yet one could supply a medically correct answer. When they were being foolish from the get go.

Yes I do believe so. I have asked some silly ones and many people take them seriously. I see the humor in many of the silly ones.

Really no question is silly, it stems from some sort of curosity or genuine not knowing. So I would answer a question as best I could, after all I am a mom with 2 daughters who went through stages of asking questions and I answered them, not matter how silly they sounded.
