yeah, it's spelled as meijer, and it's similar to walmart. there are a few differences, like walmart offers auto services, eye doctors, and hair stylist, but generally they will both offer groceries, home goods, clothing, electronics, etc.

We have Meijers here in Ohio, it is pretty similar to Walmart, Its a pretty good store I shop there often

Yeah, Meijers. I think they'e mostly midwest. My ex-wife has one in her hometown up in MI, and she loves the place. When I went in there, it looked to me like a ghetto K-Mart and a Barnes Supermarket had unnatural intercourse and produced one nasty child. Then again, it could have just been a bad store.

To my knowledge, there aren't any here in FL, but that's probably because there's a Wal-Mart on every other block in my town--no room for competition here.
