the scariest thing that ever happened to me is when i was little i was in my car with my sister and some man parked next to us and started smiling at us. i was only five so i smiled back. then he opened our car door (my dad haddnt locked it) and started pulling my arm. i had my seatbelt on and i started screaming and he ran off because my dad came out and tried to fight him. i was scared to stay in the car from then on...

The day I joined the Army was a horrible day ... I was 17 & a senior in high school ... we got lost in down town Denver - ok not down town ... more like the ghetto ( didn't want to be mean though .. lol .. ) people were cursing at me & my girl friend who joined the same day - at one corner these group of guys started throwing bottles and telling us we better run or we'll end up rapped, strangled & in a ditch ... we got the hell out of there ASAP ... !
We were so scared and super late for our appointment ... when we showed up at the meps station we had people yelling at us already ... it was one of the longest days ever ... I took test after test and full body exams, drug tests, physicals ... etc ... once we were done we headed back to the Denver Airport - it's a huge airport and of course we got lost - by the time we found our gate the plane was already long gone ... the next flight coming in was delayed because of this crazy snow storm - yeah I had to join in Feb. - we ended up sleeping at the airport until the plane got in around 2am ... !
I swear it was a blizzard out and I kept looking at the plane and thinking to myself ... yeah right this tiny @ss plane is going to fly 25 of us all the way over the Rocky Mountains ... my flight was only 45-60 mins. we took off just fine and headed home ... about 25 minutes into the ride I look out my window and notice the propeller on my side isn't moving at all ... it was crazy - I looked over at my friend and asked her " hey is your motor working on your side " ... she looked at me like I was crazy and said " hello, are you serious - of course it's moving " ... after that I started asking the stewardess if it's normal ... trying to keep me calm & quiet so nobody could hear me she just said " oh yeah, I've seen it happen before " ... that reassured me a little until the pilot got on the loud speaker and told us not to worry but we had our right front motor blown out and we should be just fine with the one that is working ... but please stay seated at all times ... !
I could feel the plane flying lopsided the whole time ... when we finally got to our airport the plane started circling around ... we weren't heading down at all - we probably circled 4-5 times before the pilot got on and said " I'm sorry but the airport below doesn't have the emergency evacuation team ready for us yet ... we'll have to fly to the next airport over ... it should only take us 15-20 mins. to get there " ... WTF ... did he just say EMERGENCY evacuation team ... that's when we all started freaking out - I was ok and really not that scared since we're just flying around ... but there was this really drunk lady in the back and all she kept doing was crying and screaming " WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE " ... I wanted to kick her in the head ... she was scaring all kinds of people ... !
We finally got to the Gunnerison Airport ... a little hick town in the middle of nowhere Colorado ... I could see the airport below us ... that's when I started getting really scared ... all you could see was flashing lights, fire trucks, police officers, men in shiny silver suites with fire extinguishers, people with stretchers, people with wheelchairs ... it's was like a movie or something ... and just when you think it couldn't get any worse - the lady in the back starts running up & down the isles screaming - " we're all going to die, we're all going to die " ... it took 3 guys to hold her down in her seat ... no warning or anything the plane starts heading straight down ... by this time I think half the plane is screaming and crying ... the plane is bouncing like crazy and totally off balance ... for once in my life - I thought I was really going to die ... I felt like I was being ripped off ... and I wasn't ready to go ... and really pissed that I would be dieing in a plane crash ... !
So there we are ... bouncing around ... BAM ... the wheels hit the ground ... BAM ... the other side hits the ground ... we start skidding sideways and you can tell the pilot is trying his hardest to keep the plan centered ... the tires are screeching and full of smoke ... the motor that is working looks like it's starting to spark now too ... just when I think it's about to get worse ... the plane comes to a complete stop ... just like that ... all our belongings and little things that were on the ground go flying forward towards the stewardess ... !
All you hear is clapping & screaming ... we were all so happy to have landed ... the pilot comes out hugging the stewardess and yelling " We're all ok now " ... I'm thinking .. NORMAL MY @SS ... that was the scariest thing that has ever happened to me ... once we all get off the plane we go inside to wait ... !
We were told another plane was getting ready for us ... well that never happened ... and we had to all load up in a freakin' school bus .. not any school bus .. the crappiest school bus you could think off - in fact it was the only school bus in town ... it didn't even have a heater ... and if you know what -27 degrees feels like then imagine a bus full of angry scared tired people freezing our @sses off driving back to the airport ... the drive we had was in the middle of the Black Forrest .. windy as hell and icy like Antarctica ... lol ... it took us 2 & half hours just to drive - the plane ride would have taken us 20 minutes ... there we are pulling up to the Montrose Airport with the sun coming up ... !
My parents waiting at the door for me ... that was one of the happiest times ever ... seeing your family again after you think you're gone forever ... that day was horrible ... not to mention I just signed my life away for the freedom of this country ... so yeah I had a lot going on that day ... sorry it's so long ... I couldn't help myself ... !

Well i went through quite a rough patch these last 6 months but i got through it. My parents had a very nasty break up. within a week of them breaking up i saw my dog get hit by a car, completly my fault, i almost got hit too. My boyfriends best mate wanted to commit suicide and he came to me for help, it was pretty scary because you say the wrong thing? they will do it. Urrrm. the most scariest thing i gues. would be i was about 6 and my mum parked this car on a really steep hill outside her mates house, she told me to come out and i accidently stood on the handbreak, so the car went tumbling down the hill and i fell out, could of been seriously injured or maybe killed instantly if i stayed in the car because the car hit the wall, impact would have cause severe damage to my head apparently.

I would have to say when I was pregnant the doctor wanted me to have an abortion because he didn't feel either the baby or I would make it. I don't believe in abortion so I went ahead with the pregnancy. I had him and had my tubes tied and caught pneaumonia and almost died. But for those 9 months of pregnancy I was walking on pins and needles. Then when my son was 2 he would go for 30 hours at a time without urinating. We never did get complete answers for what all was going on with him from the urologist. So to this day and he is 9 I am overprotective of him.

Oooh that sounds awful.
THe first thing that comes to mind is once when I was in a car accident on a curved road, it was icy. My son (14) was helping me push the car out of the ditch and a speeding car came round the bend, not seeing us. It slid and my son was under the car when it stopped. He was very lucky!

when I started going into seizures and had to be life-flighted to Vanderbilt Hospital in nashville, I died three times on the way there, it turned out that I had a cyst on my brain and ended up losing my short-term memory for awhile, I still can't remember things unless I write them down but i was like that before

I almost lost my son when i was pregnant with him. it all worked out ok though. hes 9 and healthy and beautiful.
