For those who've been fired before, you know how it feels. Trust me I did not do anything wrong. I need good suggestion that won't get me into more trouble. But I got have justice cause it was not fair. It was the assistant manager who fired me. The main manager is cool with me, so I don't want to do anything that would mess with him.

You can't do anything that would not have an effect on everyone else working at the store. Unless laws were violated, move on.

Marshalls is not that great of a place to work. Since you still have a good rep with the main manager, you can still use him as a reference to get a better job. Anything you do to damage this will cause you more harm than anyone else. Give the main manager a call and tell him/her that you are sorry about what happened amd will miss working with him/her and verify that you can use him/her as a reference.

I trust you want a serious answer. Anything you do to retaliate against the assistant mgr. will backfire on you with the "main" mgr.
One of the basic rules of management is you have to back up decisions made by those under you that you have given the authority to make decisions. If you don't, that reflects back on your decision to put that person in authority. If the main manager thinks firing you was wrong, he should explain why to him in private, so he can learn from it. The only thing you can do is go to the main manager, explain your side of the situation, and let him take it from there.
And that is the way the real world works.

retaliation is NEVER a good idea as it will stick with you and ruin your future jobs. Never burn your bridges.
I'm thinking maybe your state has "work at will" laws wherein they can let you go at the drop of a hat and give you no reason for why they let you go. If you're living in a state with those kinds of laws it's better to always have your resume updated and go with the flow. Ask those you were friendly with if they would write a letter of recommendation for you. Also ask for a letter from Human Resources as to what dates you worked there and at what pay. If you worked there under 6 months don't list it on your resume, say something else (reasonable) for the time being. of course ask them if any money is coming to you (like vacation pay or sick day pay). Then immediately go to your welfare office and ask for food stamps, and sign up for unemployment compensation whether or not you have another job waiting for you. Then apply all over. Good luck to you.

Perhaps this assistant manager was told to fire you and it wasn't his decision at all.

Were you lowest on the seniority list, are they cutting hours for more people, etc. There are all sorts of reasons that people get fired for no fault of their own. I got fired because they were eliminating my department - such is life.

Be thankful that you have retail skills that will help you get another job. Many people are "one-trick-ponys" and find it difficult to find another job that they're qualified for.

Move on and let it be.

Good luck in your job hunting.

It hurts to get fired and do not try to "get even" with anyone you worked for or with. Whatever happened, and I know from experience life is not fair, you aren't working there anymore and this is the stimulus for a change in your life. For all you know it happened for a reason you cannot understand. Seize on the opportunity to find a better job.

A good suggestion would be to leave your ex boss alone before you get into more trouble. Just go find another job.
