Don't you find it insulting that Bush refused to include the Democrats for 6 years and now feels the need to start kissing butt? Watch what he says in his speech later about bi-partisanship. Where was that sentiment when he had control of the House and Senate? Is he afraid that he and his henchmen will be investigated?

This is a repeating part of his strategy. He does something to make it sound like he's a nice guy, and his supporters give him credit for being magnanimous or wise or whatever. Then he acts as if he never said it. It's a twist on the No Child Left Behind Act which put testing and program requirements on the states and then was not funded. No, it's the other way around after six years of democrat obstructionism ,Pelosi said she wants to promote by- partisanship. She wouldn't play all those years when someone else won but now that she's winning she wants to play. Just like a liberal your either with me or I don't want to play any more.

Maybe its just me but I would never vote to power a man who cant speak his own language properly.. I understand having problems with a foreign language but how can he say stuff like 'misunderestimate'? So I never expect anything intelligent or anything with longterm positive benefits from Bush.

Umm, no.

Why, if you have control of the Congress would you need to "kiss butt" with an out-of-power party?

As for "bi-partisanship," liberal Democrats think bi-partisanship is when a Republican votes their way...but a Democrat (Joe Lieberman for example) is a traitor when he votes the way of a Republican.

He is a gracious man who ALWAYS wanted to work with the Democrats. They were just too whiny. Hope they will settle down and WORK.
