Why are girls such bad judges of other girls' attractiveness?

isn't beauty in the eye of the beholder? but i know what you're saying. i think angelina jolie, liv tyler, and julia roberts are all gorgeous but a lot of guys look at me like i'm crazy when i say that. i dunno.

I see most girls as being more attractive than myself. But I think i am accurate because people don't notice me much or tell me I look good.
It depends on where the girl gets her confidence from, within , or if she depends on other people to tell her she is "good enough".
I think all girls tend to think that others are prettier than they. And it is just impossible to convince some people otherwise.

I think women are actually BETTER. They have a real appreciation for the work involved in achieving the attractiveness too. They are just not as quick to acknowledge sometimes because they can be catty.

I have been told I am a pretty good judge but I believe it may have something to do with how we look at other women. We compare ourselves to them. Everyone's view on attractiveness is different though, too.

because guys and girls see things differently...
1)we might have different definition of beauty
2) we are attracted to different areas (or we are attracted due to different reasons) .. eg, a guy may look at the face and the body of this particular girl, but girls look at girls and see it differently.. we might look at the the girl dressing, their overall personalities, their overall features, charisma etc..

well, some girls do get jealous when they see other attractive girls.. sometimes it's the esteem . others just compare the subject to themselves or to their friends.. (eg, if you see a attractive girl, but all my friends are more attractive than this girl, then how can i agree with you??)

i do like to look at girls too.. sometimes my guy friends agrees with me that these girls are good looking.. sometimes they don't.. it's the perspective..

Most girls don't want to be upstaged by another girl. It comes from jealousy and envy. Girls that do this are only insecure about themselves.

I am a girl so I beg to differ. I can recognize a hottie as well as any guy. I think guys are worse at recognizing attractiveness in other guys because they don't want to be caught on anyones's gaydar!
