switch to AOL or AIM mail - they have a great spam filter, and when you receive messages, you can mark them as spam, and you won't receive them again! Both email providers are free!

There is not much you can do. Go through each spam message, and if it has a link to remove you from their mailing list, then do so. This is not the case for 90% of spam though. I get about 200 to 300 per day, consider yourself lucky.

You can change your settings by going into options on your web based e-mail. You can then incese security that stops spam or can even stop those who you do not have saved as a contact!

Either get AOL because you get excellent spam filters, or un register from sites (usually a link at the bottom of the E-Mail). Worked for me just fine

Create another account as your personal one and use the one you have now as a spam catcher. They know what this mail account is called, have another one as a personal one. It works.

I get around this by having 2 email addresses. One that I only give to friends and family and the other is a "junk" account used for account sign ups that sort of thing.
