Take the Barcelona Bus. You can buy the tickets while you wait for you luggage and the buses wait for the Ryanair flights

Single fare €12, return fare €21 time 1 hour 10 minutes

If you want to go by train, by the time you have got to Girona Station and waited for a train, you will be nearly in Barcelona on the bus.

I went to Barcelona 3 years ago via Girona airport. At the time I took a RyanAir chartered bus. I forgot how much I paid but I'm sure it was @ 20 euros. Girona is quite far from Barcelona so I highly recommend taking a chartered bus.

The best way to transfer from Girona to Barcelona is by taking the bus, train or pay 200 euros on a taxi ride of 1 hour.

i done this yesterday 8-11-06, as soon as you walk out the door after collecting your bag turn right 5 yards in front is the ticket office to your bus just say single or return for barcelona bus the prices in previous answer are correct 12 or 21 euros, the bus is then 2o yards directly behind you and will leave almost straight away as they leave according to when planes arrive, when in barca avoid trains if poss as their is major works on tracks and they are doing all sorts of detours ie go to this station then that one god knows where you might end up.
