We don't NEED to be but we are. I have heard that in all of recorded human history (10,000 years) there has only been about 150 years in all where there hasn't been any wars going on. It is the way things are I am sorry to say.

No, I don't but until human beings learn more acceptance of 'different' and stop viewing that as a 'threat' conflict will remain.

Todays society is addicted to chaos. Without Chaos there is no reason to live. People who are chaos addicts will actually cause problems in their own lives because with out chaos they think something is wrong.

Really good question. Unfortunately our economy is propped up by spending and one of the major areas of spending is what they call "defence" and we call War!

in an ideal world we wouldnt.but you know what they say, agree with it or not, war MAKES LOADS OF MONEY.thats all 'They' care about.
