Are you against change or something what is wrong with you do you mean that if the democrats are doing something good for the country they ought to be vetoed. With the troops stuck in Iraq and with republicans not having a clue on how to get them out, don't you think if another party is willing to work to help solve the problem, it will be better than us being hated by the rest of the world. We did have to go Iraq to show the terrorist that we can fight back, but now we are way overdue, it is time to get the hell out. And there are so many other issues with the republican party behaving like a bunch of girls gone wild while they are suppose to be conservatives but they are still baskering in the glory from their recent victory that they forgot what the hell they were elected for in the first place.

i gather you are republican, first off, when it comes time to vote for a new president the people who are republicans will undoubtedly vote republican and the same for the denocrats.now does that sound logical? probably so to millions of americans out there.but regardless of what you are republican or demacrat.shouldn't be a factor.vote for who ever you think is the best man/woman for the job. i agree bush has made some bad decisions but remember this he also has to go through chanels such as congress and the house of represenatives to get cleared with anything like war.can you imagine what would have happened if he didn't act on the 9/11 attack?we would have been open for buisness to terrorist.where there is war people die and thats a realazation we have to accept.when he did good people praised him but as soon as things don't go the way we expect them to go, then bush is no good he becomes the bad guy.we have gotten too relaxed and didn't learn a thing from pearl harbor.this country has to be on it's toes twenty four hours a day and 365 days a year.and we will do what ever it takes to protect our freedom.you need to wake up and smell the roses.if you think his job is so easy then i suggest you try to run for presidency some time.x marks the spot.i symphatize with all the families who lost loved ones in iraq and elseware.but we have buisness to take care of over there and we intend to finish it.take care and good luck. pete

How about a touch of perspective. The democrats were in control of the house and the senate for 40 years. The republicans argued that war was their fault, deficit was their fault, taxes were their fault, out of hand military spending was their fault, the budget failures were their fault but not the successes, they were due to republican diligence. They argued that the country was in a state of moral decline because the democrats had been in power too long, and that the best way was the "right" way. So what did we get? We got 12 years of pedophilia, resignations due to racist alliances, misled on weapons of mass destruction, lobbyists buying and selling our majority congressional representatives, campaign finance fraud, the shredding of the constitution, a look the other way attitude while the terrorists were attacking new york, resignations due to sexual misconduct, Jack A., illegal wiretapping, torture of prisoners of war, secret prisons, spying on US citizens, nuclear weapons in Iran and North Korea, their friend and benefactor Osama is still running around, oh, and a war we can't win. There's a legacy any republican can be proud of, and they only took 12 years to do it. Nixon's back, and he brought the gang with him.

Do you think he'll veto a balanced budget?

Oh - right. Of course he would. Republicans have become the party of deficit and debt.

At least people will see what he rejects now.

No, you are wrong.

If you really followed politics and cared for your country you wouldn't be so hardline.

If you recall, The Republican congress held bush back on many things from Immigration reform to Education Reform.

I bet he gets those done now.

im a republican, so im hoping 2008 is our year too..so im actually hoping hillary is the 2008 dem candidate, so its pretty much a definite republicans will win then...but sadly to say dems do have a lot more power now, and even if they dont have the power to do much, they still have the power to stop bush from trying to pass laws and whatnot..and only god knows how they will ultimately affect the war in iraq..but i have a feeling those cowards will want to pull troops, leading us to a failure in iraq..thus, leading thousands of men and women to have died for a cause that was never completed, because dems dont have guts

And what will happen to Bush's evil agenda, congress holds the purse strings, it is called balance of power and what the founders meant when they created it.

Thanks for the Un-American attitude, sore loser much?

We will get plenty of things done, first on the list, oversight into YOUR FAILED war. All the Dem's have to do is start holding hearings, truth starts trickling out. Ask Dick Nixon and see how well that worked for him.

Are you a natural instigator, or did you study?

Vetoes can be overturned. And there are still enough reasonable GOPers to make that happen.
