Now I cant get rid of this fishy smell thats coming from my vagina. Is there away I can get rid of this horrible smell while i'm bleeding and have this hpv problem? If not once I can get all these problems under control what can I ask my dr. to prescribe me to get rid of this fishy smell. I'm embrassed to the point I cant even sit next to my boyfriend without thinking he smells me. Help me out ladies WHAT CAN I DO?

I had this exact problem. I was on depo before I had any kids and it was great then after my first child I got on it again and bled for several months and had the fishy smell, I was also told I have hpv with high grade sil (associated with hpv. Hpv is very common and not all hpv is the kind that has worts. There are 10 types of hpv and only 2 have warts. HPV is an epidemic and has been shown that 80% of adult persons have it shown of a study of 1500 people. The fishy smell is usually from the depo, but there's not a whole lot that can be done other than fds sprays and douching. Hope this helps.

Well first i wouln't take the depo or the pills i would get the diaphram they have the least amout of side effects and the only time my mom or grandma got pregnant was when they did not put it in. so yeah but the fishy smell try this when you are in the shower take a liquid sented body wash and wash in your vaginal area it helps just make sure you get it all out that is what many ppl i know do and it helps them. good luck

Girl you might have bacterial vaginosis which is common for girls. It usally happens from douching or messing with the natural bacteria in your vagina. Second get the colonoscopy to remove the bad cells on your cervix. If your doctor was good he should have already fixed this for you. Dont worry about just get care ASAP and everything should work out. Good Luck!

Sometimes you have to let it run it's course. Hygiene is the most important. Douching is bad for you. Maybe the feminine sprays is good. Usually there is something wrong with the inside when it smells like that.
