One of the major news stations was saying that the one of the first things the democrats will do is repeal some of the tax cuts Bush enacted, specifically the marriage tax penalty. I need every last penny of that tax cut to pay my bills. My sister says that is a little dramatic and it won't happen like that. What do you think?

They will try to repeal the tax cuts to the top wage earners and try to add more tax relief the the middle and lower class. Since you I suspect are in the middle to lower class of the wage scale I feel you situation will improve with the democrats in power

Every ones taxes will be raised about 2900 dollars a year but the Democrats thought it was only going to effect the wealthy...They were wrong. Sorry I hope you can still afford to pay your bills.

Bush can veto anything a Democratic Congress does, and they will not have the votes to override him. He was not the veto type before, but he will be now!

We do need to raise some taxes (on gthe rich) to reduce the deficit.

Only for people making over $200,000/year.

And actually, I doubt they'll be repealled at all. Instead, I think they'll just be allowed to expire at the time a Republican congress and and Republican president designed for them to expire.

THE DEMS THINK ANYBODY THAT HAS A PAYCHECK IS RICH. THEY WILL TRY TO ALLOW TAX CUTS TO EXPIRE, BUT IF THEY LOSE IT ALL IN 2008 IT WOULDN'T HAPPEN.
