I AM ADDICTED TO BOOTS. I have desperately trying to stay out of the stores, for fear of buying more boots.
I love them for the way they way they make me feel - sexy, confident, sturdy. I love the style. I love the colors and that I can wear them with dresses, jeans, work pants, gauchos. Everything! I love the smell of leather boots. I look the height they give me. I am just ADDICTED.

I wear boots cause they look good with some outfits.
As in the colder months they are usually a more durable shoe, no one wants to wear a strappy shoe in the snow
Also if you wear the right pair of boots with the right outfit it can make the person look taller and leaner.
So most of all women wear boots cause they look good

1 and 2 are binded.
1 is what my opion is, but 2 comes into it as when i get attention it makes me FEEL a certain way which is why i wear them.
Oh and also i dont like my flats no more and high shoes are not really suitable for this weather so its high boots.!!!!! flat boots make me look short and stumpy.

I wear boots mostly just because I like the look and because they're practical. If my boots have heels, they only have chunky low ones, like my combat boots, because I want them to be comfortable to wear. Boots also go nicely with most clothes.

High heeled boots make me feel not only taller but sexier and give me a sense of 'purpose' when I'm striding down the street whereas shoes are too elegant for that.

i like boots but i am 5' 8" and so i tend to be very tall when wearing them they make me feel snug and cosy and superior. i always get guys looking at me if i wear my stiletto knee highs with a mini skirt and finally i just luv em!!
ps tall girls slouch boots r gr8 cuz dey keep u warm and dey is flat!

I love them for all of the reasons you stated, plus they make me taller (I'm only 5' tall), and some are just too cute to not wear

When I wear my boots I feel taller & more confident, they are great in winter, versitile and instantly revamp an outfit. It helps men love it!!
