There is a song and I can't seem to remember the name or even who sings it. This is the best I got, hope you'll help:
-1950's sounding song
-slower rhythm
-woman sings the chorus, which goes sha la la la la
-definitley from an older movie

I know it's a long shot, but any info or guesses would really help!

You're right, it's a long shot. One song that comes to mind is "Baby It's You", written by Burt Bacharach and originally performed by the Shirelles. There's a 1983 movie of the same name.

there's many songs with sha la la la la....

even a few in the 70s.... what movie? any other lyrics?

next query you submit for us give us more stuff even if you think it's worthless, silly and embarassing.

:D

hey um.. if you have a site? or 360... maybe you can do us up a sound clip trying to hum it... la la la it or something :D

then we can listen and work from there?!
