as such ballet is not hard but difficult than a simple dance performance because,
first of all it is not as short as a dance performance rather too long, for so many minutes one have to be on the stage.
secondly, there is not a single expression one has to convey, because a ballet expresses or shows a particular situation or story u can say,so one has to kept on changing his expressions in accordance with that situation or storyline
thirdly, because of the length of a ballet performance one can easily forget the following steps or what next one has to do.
fourthly, ballet is always done in a group so the coordination is also require
lastly, a ballet performance is a performance which makes others understand something, spectators no merely watch the dance in ballet like they do while watching a dance performance they in fact understand that situation and if one fails to convey it properly then it will be considered as a futile effort.

you have to be EXTREMELY strong
and the movements are very difficult.
you have to have great balance and it comes through practice.
controlling your body is hard to do.
otherwise everyone could be an NBA star or olympic swimmer.
training your body is hard work.
if you take just one class you will see by experience what is hard about it.

because it requires discipline, dedication and devotion, and a lot of leg work, sweat, and an excellent teacher to go along with a strong will to do it and be it.
