So ridiculous, all this false jollity, having to cope with family and aquaintances that you would only normally spend five minutes with.
Christian Festival.....you gotta be joking. Abolish ALL religions at the same time.

Have a nice day now, y'all.

I think this banning culture of the UK has got the worst of you! Come on! Let others enjoy things, I'm sure they want to ban things that you enjoy. Let's not be so bad to each other trying to kill the joy in something people like to do. Let's ban the banning culture! Have a good Xmas by treating yourself to a holiday in a country where Xmas is not celebrated!!! You could do with a week somewhere nice and warm.

I think Christmas is wonderful although it can be a sad time if you have lost a loved one. Jesus being born (I know he probably wasn't born on the 25th December) is the real meaning of Christmas. I agree there is too much emphasis on giving really expensive presents and over indulging. Its a great time to meet family and friends who you are probably too busy to visit during the year. Enjoy and embrace Christmas, don't spend too much, it is the giving and receiving of the gift not how much you spent. Just remember how deary January and February are.

Wow, thats really cynical. I love Christmas! It has nothing to do with presents or even the fact that its a Christian holiday - and I use the term Christian loosly. Its hardly considered a Christain holiday anymore because there isn't a whole lot left in Christmas that really has anything to do with Christ. Try telling a little kid that you hate Christmas and want to do away with it completely. That child is going to be heartbroken. Thats why Christmas is the way it is now - not for you, dumbass, its for kids.

Damn you, uh, ex. whats wrong with xmas? are you like alone on Christmas Day? Buy yourself something really enjoyable like a new Wii if Xmas is such a Burden to you. thats my advice. Plus, whats the hell with "abolish all religions?" good luck. not even Ethan Hunt from Mission Impossible can do that . OK bad example but, cheer up Dude.

Spot on fella. The ad campaigns have begun already trying to make me feel all Christmasy and I don't like it! I know at some point I'll have to trvel miles just to sit in an old relatives lounge drinking tea and pretending to enjoy the conversation - and it's all because of some made up blokes birthday. Scrooge knew what he was talking about!

I adore xmas! For me, there are no religious connotations, I just love having my family around me and spending a whole day seeing nothing but smiles from each and every one of them. I DO agree up to a point that xmas is a time of real hardship for some people and I feel sorry for that, but in my own selfish world, it's a great happy time for me and mine.

xmas isn't christian. they stole this holiday and tackied their name on it like most of the holidays..

if you're such a weak minded turd muncher that you allow others to ruin a holiday.... man you need to bury yourself a deep hole somewhere in the boonies never to be found again only but by a dog who is fishing around for bones of capone.

there.

learn about christmas... it's origins before you go stuffing your foot deeply into your mouth.

just because a christian stole it don't make it theirs.

that goes for easter also.. right? come on when will the god dam pagans step in and stop this massive theft?

We you got it right - humbug!

Maybe you could tell everyone you're opting out of Christmas from now on - but leave the rest of us to enjoy it.

If you banned it 300 million kids worldwide would hate you!

you have a nice day too - even Dec 25th.
