Hey Kimberly, I myself can't listen to "sad" music, but I think it depends on the individual person! I think if you find yourself really
depressed then maybe you should change the station, or reload your IPOD! Life is way too short to walk around depressed all of
the time, Kimberly get out doors and take a nice walk (without
any music) and listen to Natures Music! Then go home and open
all of your curtains and let some sun into your soul....I think you
will find that you don't need to listen to "sad" music all of the time
in fact, you will be singing your own tune soon! Take care :-)

Personally, it brings my mood down to listen to it all the time. It kinda changes my mind-set, you know? Maybe it's cuz I always try to connect with the music I listen to- like, see if I can relate to it. So basically, I say some is fine, but you need some happy/fun music once in a while too to balance it out.

not all the time because sad music can put you in a sad mood, and then you will be all depressed, but I do listen to sad music sometimes when I feel bad to cry it out and release my stress. and because I like to sing.

It is good if yr mood goes together with the sad music. But if you feel good, well or happy there is no reason to listen to it ...

as long as it's not making you sad it should be just fine.
i listen to headbanging rock a lot of the times just because i love the sound and the music and the perfect syncronization of their voices and the music, and then i'll go listen to enya and things like that. so i think it's perfectly fine. music is just sound, it's all about how you take it.

not really.you should also try something nice and different.and music expresses different feelings,so sad music makes sad, some others music also should be listened beside those sad ones.

No, not really. It is a proven fact that music affects mood & a variety of sounds & songs is a healthier option mentally speaking.
