My Audi has all of a sudden started to run "hot". It hasn't completely overheated...yet. I crank the heater and it goes down a bit. I have to drive and can't fix it yet. It has a new oil change and yearly tune up was done 3 months ago. Any thoughts?
Thanks!!! Oh...it has about 120,000 miles on it.

It is never safe to drive a vehicle that is overheating. Engines can develop problems no matter how diligent you are about oil changes and tune ups.

My vehicle developed piston problems due to additives in the gasoline, and I had to have them replaced with slightly over 40,000 miles on the car. My vehicle was luckily, under warranty; but you do have some type of problem.

You do not want to have your engine seize up or ruin your radiator, so you need to get your vehicle to a reputable mechanic as soon as possible, or you will be broken down on the side of the road. Please get it checked out. We all "have to drive..," but we also have to be safe. Best of luck to you.
