They abandoned their constituents LONG AGO. They had all the power and did nothing for major GOP issues, except taxes.
Gay marriage, abortion, supporting our troops (they are underpaid commared to the contracted workers) Donald needed to go!!!(He wasn't getting them proper equipment or support.
AMERICA WANTED A CHANGE.
I think this prooves most Americans are sensible middle of the road people. I think the Democrats needed to go in '94 and '96 just like the Republicans need to go now.
Hopefully, with a Republican president, A Democratic house, and a split Senate...
We will get answers,
We will get cooperation,
and we will get reform,
and BALANCE!
If the Republicans really wanted to win they should have staged (another?) terrorist attack. Nothing like a bit of fear to turn voters.

People are realists and when you go after a phantom threat with no timeline it raises concern and doubts. New media also has a greater impact on how people generate thought about issues that they may have been clueless on otherwise. We accomplished what we needed to do by removing Saddam with no evidence of weapons of mass destruction. Let's get out of the middle east and focus on overpopulation.

the dems got more of the dead people votes this time around. And if they were running behind, like in Ohio, they filed a law suit to keep polling places open longer. Litigious bas.tards. No wonder this country is in the toilet. Dems new catch phrase "If you don't get what you want, SUE for it."

Well we will see about that terrorist talk. Give it about a year and things are going to be very different. I hope I am wrong but I am afraid I am not.

We went to Iraq when we shouldn't have....the moment that Turkey didn't allow us to use their airspace for a second front to invade from, the whole idea should have been scrapped.

Obiously they lost. Could be a lot of things. The budget, the failure of a real immigration policy. But fear not, I as a Republican will see this as an opportunity by tomorrow. Today I shall be dejected. lol

More people voted for the Democrats. I'm just one individual, as are you, and can only cast one vote, for only my state. If we lose, its not my fault. It was the voter's decision
