No, that's not sad. That's very wise in today's society.

I too have many acquaintances, but only one I really trust completely & a second who I'm learning to trust. It's just not safe to blindly offer trust & it is something that has to be earned.

Honestly, my husband only. Not parents and I don't really have any friends b/c they have all screwed me over. Just recently I got rid of a friend b/c we worked at the same place and she ended up quiting b/c they cut her hours. Well she was mad at them for it. She told me that she could get me a job where her son works and have insurance. So dumb me quit my job. And last week I found out that she had been lying to me the whole time just to get back at our old boss. Now I'm without a job. I'm done with "friends." What's so bad is I'm 27 and this woman is almost 60-I didn't think that an older person would screw you over.

I only trust about 4 people on this planet. That's probably how it's going to stay for the rest of my life too.

I have only one person in my life that I trust absolutely no questions asked with every part of my life. I don't think it's sad, I think to have even one person you trust "soul deep" is a wonderful thing.
